Freedom & Healing

Our Covenant:

covenantThe Hebrews left Egypt in one day but spent forty years in the wilderness because they let Egypt live inside them. Many in the Church today are living in a Greek mindset that keeps us in bondage in our families, finances and in our health. Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), (14) that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Both the First and New Covenants promise us freedom from every curse, sickness and disease as we walk with God in obedience and faith. The prophecy of Isaiah concerning what the Messiah would do is clear, Jesus came so that we would experience healing, health, freedom and blessing. As children of God we have a right to our covenant of health.

Freedom:

breaking-chainThe enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy but that is not God’s plan for us. His desire is that we live and freedom and be free from every curse that is blocking the blessings He has for us. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NKJV) “For the weapons of are warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, (5) casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

Many are familiar with the Armor of God in Ephesians six, but those are not our only weapons. Praise is a weapon, prayer is a weapon, the shout of victory is a weapon. The biggest part of becoming free is being discipled in how to live free. That is one of the primary aims of what I teach, equipping people how to live free after becoming free.

We live free by speaking the Word, keeping our thoughts in line, keeping ourselves accountable and understanding how to use the weapons God has given us.

Healing & Divine Health:

issue of bloodExodus 15: 26 (NKJV) “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought upon the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” God does not change and Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. The promise of healing and divine health given to them is for us today and the covenant we have in Jesus has even more benefits than the first one.

Jesus healed all who came to Him and commissioned His followers to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast out devils. As believers we not only have a right to be healed and walk in health, we have a responsibility to bring healing to others.

My desire is to see the Church grow in wisdom, understanding and knowledge in the area of healing, health and miracles. Hosea 4:6 tells us that we are destroyed for lack of knowledge and that when we reject knowledge the next generation suffers for it. God desires that we know what belongs to us and that is what I endeavor to teach, the blessings that are found in relationship with God.
