- Tu Beshvat begins on February 9th. It is the season for planting trees in Israel. If you have been wanting to bless Israel, now is the perfect time. @larryhuchministries has a project planting olive trees in Ma'ale Amos. This project is literally fulfilling prophecy by making the desert bloom. You can learn more about the project and give towards it at https://larryhuchministries.com/olive-grove/My favorite CD growing up. Throughout the Bible we are commanded to remember what God has done for us in the past. There is no better way to do that than by listening to the music and messages during past times when the Lord spoke or moved in your life in powerful ways. The BDS movement is modern day antisemitism plain and simple. #Repost @yaf_ (@get_repost) ・・・ If you champion sanctions against Israel—an American ally—but denounce sanctions on Iran—a terrorist-supporting nation—you might be a leftist. @nikkihaley is right, it doesn't make any sense. My favorite thing is to take trips back to the late 90's! That's when it all started for me. #pastorrodparsley #PRP #breakthrough #jubileeRead all of Isaiah 60I think at times we make faith too hard. We can put too much emphasis on working our faith instead of resting in faith. Mark 11:22-24 MEV "Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them." We can find ourselves reading books or listening to a teaching series to get the faith formula for healing, financial increase, or how to get someone saved. Yes, we do have to walk by faith. Faith is trusting God, believing that God will perform His Word. We can't put a time table on it. We can't outline to God how we want Him to respond to our faith. If we would get out of working our formulas of faith and allow the truth of the Word to wash over our heart and mind, we would find faith to be a much easier lifestyle. Romans 10:17 MEV "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." If we will rest in the Word and in the truth. If we will allow the Word to overtake our doubts, fears and questions, we will be more consistent in our faith walk. #devotionalthought #faith #biblereading #healing #prosperity #salvation #holyspirit #truthHave you not known? Have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint, nor is He weary? His understanding is inscrutable. He gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31 MEVWhat causes an eight year old kid to not change the channel from a preacher to a cartoon? Maybe it was the iconic shout, maybe it was the passion from the preacher or the pandemonium of the people. What was it? It was God drawing me to himself through the ministry of Pastor Rod Parsley. It was God causing me to watch a screaming, dancing, preaching machine and knowing I was going to do that, and all this before April 27, 1997, the day I surrendered my life to the Lord. I read several Facebook memories this morning of birthday posts I've written in the past. So today I've been thinking of the impact PRP has had and has on my life. From dressing like him when I was kid, and I'll confess, dressing up when no one was home and practicing the shout in the mirror to get it right. Some would say Parsley was an idol. At a young age, without knowing it, I was literally doing my best to imitate Pastor Rod as he followed God. I followed his faith, I listen to him and I read his books. Reading the things I wrote in the past the one thing that keeps coming to mind today is his consistency. He has never changed his message or who he is. Pastor hasn't followed trends, he's just preached the Word in good times and in bad and has stayed strong in faith. I am thankful to be able to watch him from afar as I have done for over two decades now. I'm sure he hast felt the love today and he deserves it for all he means to me and so many others. #happybirthday #birthdaypost #pastorrodparsley #prp #faithfulness #spiritualfather #breakthroughThis was good. Can't wait to hear the rest of it over the next few weeks.
